CLOSING CEREMONY FOR COMBAT MEDIC COURSE FOR THE YEAR 2020

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 24 June 2020 – The closing ceremony for the Combat Medic Course for the year 2020 took place at MRS Bolkiah Complex. A total of 24 personnel participated comprised from Performance Optimisation Centre (POC), Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Force (TI RBAF) and Special Force Regiment (SFR).

Present as the Guest of Honour was 619 Colonel (Dr) Haji Awang Md Hafizul bin Haji Awang Hassan, Chief Medical Officer. Also present at the ceremony were Medical Admin Officer and all Medical Training Staff.

The 09-weeks course started on 07 February 2020 until 26 June 2020. Due to COVID-19, the course was postponed from 30 March 2020 and only to be resumed from 15 June 2020 until 26 June 2020.

The closing ceremony ended with the presentation of medical badges, certificates and awards presentation presented by the Guest of Honour. The 'Overall Best Student Award' and 'Best Theory Award' went to 22036 Private Nurul Amal Nazirah Mas Shahirah binti Masleyady from Medical and Health Services, Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Force and 'Best Practical Award' went to 50347 Lans Coperal Mohammad Norasharine bin Awang Hamdani from Special Forces Regiment.

The Combat Medic Course aimed to provide participants with a knowledge and understanding of the importance of early treatment in the event of an injury both military and civilian areas. Also, to train participants in the various combat medic skills which needed in medical emergency in both military and civilian areas.




MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS KOMBAT MEDIK BAGI TAHUN 2020

BOLKIAH GARISON, Rabu, 24 Jun 2020 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Kombat Medik bagi tahun 2020 telah diadakan di Kompleks MRS Bolkiah. Seramai 24 anggota telah menamatkan Kursus Kombat Medik tersebut yang mana peserta-peserta kursus berkenaan terdiri daripada unit Pusat Optima Kecergasan Tentera (POKT), Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) dan Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK).

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat adalah 619 Kolonel (Dr) Haji Awang Md Hafizul bin Haji Awang Hassan, Ketua Pegawai Perubatan. Turut hadir ke majlis tersebut ialah Pegawai Pentadbir Perubatan dan Jurulatih-Jurulatih Latihan Perubatan.

Kursus tersebut telah diadakan selama 09 minggu bermula 07 Februari 2020 hingga 26 Jun 2020. Oleh kerana COVID-19, kursus ini telah ditangguhkan bermula pada 30 Mac 2020 dan disambung semula pada 15 Jun 2020 hingga 26 Jun 2020.

Majlis penutup kursus tersebut diakhiri dengan penyampaian lencana dan sijil serta anugerah yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Anugerah cemerlang iaitu 'Overall Best Student' dan 'Best Theory' disandang oleh 22036 Soldadu Nurul Amal Nazirah Mas Shahirah binti Masleyady dari Khidmat Perubatan dan Kesihatan, KBK, TDDB dan Anugerah 'Best Practical' disandang oleh 50347 Lans Koperal Mohammad Norasharine bin Awang Hamdani dari Rejimen Pasukan Khas, ABDB.

Kursus Kombat Medik bertujuan untuk memberikan peserta-peserta kursus kefahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai kepentingan rawatan awal semasa berlakunya kecederaan di dalam kawasan ketenteraan mahu pun awam. Selain itu, ia juga melatih peserta-peserta kursus dalam pelbagai kemahiran kombat medik yang diperlukan dalam perubatan kecemasan di dalam kawasan ketenteraan mahu pun awam.
